Time2Pray ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Time2Pray mobile application ("App").

Account creation is entirely optional. Core features prayer times, mosque discovery, Qibla direction, and Islamic calendar are available without an account.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.
Time2Pray integrates the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

Time2Pray requests foreground location access only (while the app is open and in use). We never request background location access.
If you prefer not to share your GPS location, you may use the postal code / city search feature to find mosques without granting location permission.

The Qibla Compass feature uses your device's magnetometer and motion sensors to detect compass heading. This sensor data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Push notifications are entirely opt-in. We collect your device's Expo Push Token only if you grant notification permission. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the App. Disabling notifications causes us to stop using your push token.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information only:

You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time:
We will delete your account and personal data within 30 days of receiving your request. Anonymized iqamah time records (not linked to your identity) may be retained for service continuity.
Time2Pray is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at timetopraysalah@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale (which we do not conduct).
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Our legal bases for processing are: (a) performance of the service you requested, (b) your consent (for push notifications and optional account features), and (c) legitimate interests (service security).
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or email at least 7 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the App after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
